Nftmarketplace - grouped token pages and chain positions
Nftmarketplace token pages on OpenSea group versions across networks while preserving chain-specific choices for buying and selling a token. Shared statistics describe the grouped token, and Positions can show profit and loss by chain where available. The Activity tab has a different limitation: Your Trades filtering is unavailable for tokens with versions on multiple networks. Use the page’s network information to identify the relevant version before interpreting a position or choosing a swap.
Positions when Your Trades filtering is unavailable
For a grouped token, Positions offers chain-level PnL where available; when Your Trades filtering is missing, Activity provides the broader token trade view.
Personal positions by chain
Read the chain label alongside the position figure, particularly when the main token page combines several versions. PnL means profit and loss. It concerns your holding’s performance, whereas the page also contains market information about the token. OpenSea’s February 5, 2026 PnL article limits coverage to eligible Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) tokens and excludes native tokens, wrapped native tokens, stablecoins, and NFTs. Its February 25, 2026 token-page article gives ETH as a PnL example, leaving native-token coverage unclear.
The broader Activity view
Activity displays trades associated with the token and supports filtering by swapping platform. Your Trades is unavailable for tokens with versions on multiple networks, including USDC.
Network versions within a shared token page
The Networks field identifies the blockchains represented by a grouped token, including versions available through bridging, wrapping, or other arrangements. OpenSea aggregates statistics for tokens with versions on multiple blockchain networks.
A fungible token can have divisible, interchangeable units. Its versions across networks remain relevant when choosing which blockchain a transaction involves.
NFT collection listings and creator earnings concern NFT sales. A fungible token page reports market information about a token and, where available, your position. A collection’s floor price and an aggregated token price describe different objects, even when both appear within the same marketplace.
Where the page provides a contract address, read it alongside the chain information. An address identifies a contract on a particular blockchain; Networks shows which versions the grouped page includes. The shared display does not select a transaction’s network for you.
How do chart periods change the activity you see?
The selected period sets the window for price history and for the personal buy or sell markers shown on the chart.
Time ranges and transaction markers
Available ranges include all-time, one year, 30 days, seven days, and one day. Personal buy and sell activity appears within the selected period as red or green dots. Those markers place activity alongside price movement. The Activity tab provides a separate trade list, subject to its own filtering rules and coverage window.
Line charts and pro charts
Price history can appear as a line chart or a pro chart, depending on the token. Native gas tokens do not have pro charts. Chart format and date range answer different questions: one controls the presentation, and the other defines the period under examination.
Market cap, daily volume, and daily price change
Market cap describes the token’s circulating value, while 1D Volume measures trading over the past day and 1D Price expresses that period’s percentage price change.
Market cap is a monetary total for tokens in circulation. Neither a trading-volume figure nor a daily percentage states your acquisition cost. Read aggregate market statistics separately from the chain-specific position you are examining.
The chain choice before Buy or Sell
Buy swaps another token for the token on this page; Sell swaps this token for another. The estimated receiving amount reflects the current inputs and quote.
- If you choose Buy, check the payment amount against your displayed payment-token balance.
- For a multichain token, select the receiving chain for Buy or the source chain for Sell.
- If you choose Sell, compare the sale amount with the selected chain’s displayed balance.
- Review the estimated receiving amount and transaction details before confirming either action.
Buy shows the expected token amount on the chosen receiving chain. Sell shows the sale amount and receiving token. These estimates do not establish blockchain confirmation.
Swap routing behind the token page
Relay, Jupiter, and 0x are among the third-party swap providers OpenSea connects through its interface. OpenSea does not route those swaps itself, except for NFT strategy tokens.
Routing determines how the interface connects a swap to available liquidity. Grouped statistics describe the token across its included networks. These functions have different scopes, so a combined market view does not establish the route or amount available for a particular trade.
Holders and the limits of receipt timestamps
Holders lists the token’s top owners, including wallet addresses, the percentage and quantity held, the holding value, and when each wallet last received tokens.
The quantity and percentage describe the holding shown, while the timestamp concerns its latest receipt. A last-received timestamp does not establish the purchase date or price of every token in that wallet.
Nftmarketplace: quick answers
Does token-page PnL include NFT collection holdings?
OpenSea does not calculate token-page PnL for NFTs. Its PnL feature estimates performance for eligible Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) tokens. A fungible token’s position figure therefore does not value the NFT collection holdings in your wallet.
What is the difference between value and Return in token PnL?
Value is the current USD value of your token holding, while Return combines realized and unrealized performance into a percentage. Unrealized performance can change with market conditions before you sell or swap the tokens.
How does OpenSea estimate the cost basis for token PnL?
OpenSea estimates token PnL using first in, first out, or FIFO. This method treats the first tokens purchased as the first tokens sold. A platform using a different calculation method can display a different PnL figure for the same holding, so the method matters when reconciling estimates.
Does the Activity tab include token trades from before July 28, 2025?
The documented Activity view covers token trades after July 28, 2025. Its coverage does not establish a complete trade history for older holdings. The all-time chart setting concerns price history; it does not extend the Activity tab’s documented trade-history window.
Are a token’s website and social links always available?
Website and social links appear where applicable, so they are not universal token-page fields.
Can developers customize their OpenSea token page?
Token developers cannot currently customize how their OpenSea token page appears.
Do all token pages include trending tokens?
Trending tokens may appear at the bottom of a token page, but their presence is not universal. This list points to other tokens.
